Gil Cognac Oxford Shoe
The Oxford Full Brogue Gill in cognac is a classic of classics, one of Sapataria do Carmo's must-have models. The wingtip toe, the most charismatic element of the design, creates the illusion of a heart or open wings. Its history goes back to Budapest, where artisans sought a resistant, sophisticated, and suitable shoe for daily use. This is where the name Budapester comes from, an Austro-Hungarian interpretation of the English full brogue. It pairs well with wool, tweed, corduroy, jeans, and even wedding suits in blue, beige or grey.
This shoe is made with Blake System construction - the sole and upper are joined by direct stitching, making the shoe durable, light, and flexible.
