Sapataria do Carmo, Lisbon - has a history of 120 years. Since 1904, it has been dedicated to selling handmade Portuguese shoes. In the last decade, the design of the collections has been signed by the team in Lisbon, presenting timeless models always following trends, most of which are exclusive and limited. |

A team of 4 young entrepreneurs passionate about footwear, who already owned Sapataria do Carmo in Lisbon – a historic shop, since 1904, discovered a new love in the heart of Funchal in 2017.
The old Macela shoe shop, which had been in existence for 30 years, also sold exclusive handmade Portuguese footwear. The new management preserved the charm and essence of the original space, and today, in the central Praça Colombo, also known as Praça Amarela, we find Sapataria do Carmo Funchal, welcoming and spacious, with experienced and dedicated staff. |

If it is available in one of the stores in Lisbon, we need 2 or 3 days to send it to the Funchal branch. This shipment is carried out via CTT Express Mail, with possible delays due to geographical and climatic position. |

These models are identified with our staff at the physical store in Funchal, as well as the determination of the correct size. Production times can take between 3-6 weeks. Custom-made items cannot be returned. |
